The Funky Phonics book has a double page spread for each phoneme, with an original story emphasising the sound, and a large illustration that includes pictures of lots of items that begin with the same phoneme.   The main characters on each page are the same as those used across the rest of the program, in our rhymes and on our flash cards. Can the children find all the things on the page?  Felix is hiding here too;  can they find him as well?
